The discovery of Yoga NidraI (Shivam Rath) like most people - upon discovery am never ceased to be amazed by the profound simplicity of this meditational technique. Inducing great relaxation with the ability for attained conscious states and subtle perceptions in deeper levels of altered awareness: The Hypnogogic state: Where consciousness is in a borderline state between wakefulness and sleep allowing a bridge to form between the conscious mind the sub-conscious and even the un- conscious mind; thus possibly beyond the conditioned personality Some of the most deep or profound moments of meditation commonly known to me from both beginners and experienced meditational practitioners have been found within YogaNidra. Because it is such a space where the awakened awareness merges within the deeper levels of the sub-conscious mind and disconnects from the physical body. At times even giving a feeling that you have no physical body at all or are completely suspended in mid air. |

Derived from tantric meditational practices of body rotation - nyasa - by Swami Satyananda of Bihar School of Yoga and applied to the world yoga school of teaching from the late 1940's to define what 'true relaxation', should entail. The creation of NadaNidra ~ This was a process which happened for myself in the natural flow of practicing; studying and experimenting with the 'flow' of sound during yoga and meditational classes in combination with my 2 year diploma course of yoga studies & teacher training from 2009 - 2012. Eventually experiencing; perceiving and receiving from many a student the positive reports of enhanced awareness and concentration through the guided melodies of sound in correlation to the interactions and practice. The more 'I' practiced and incorporated the field of music within the live class atmosphere; the more these reports intensified to the point where 'I' the teacher also felt an enhanced level of focus in the creation or 'channel' for the integration of those sounds to emerge and manifest. |
What is Yoga / nada Nidra ?
A systematic method (guided meditation) of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation; performed - laying down; in the pose of shavasana making it suitable for just about all body types. Yoga = Union or one pointed awareness Nidra = Sleep Nada = Sound / flow / river Thus the concept of NadaNidra - Is the conscious flow of sounds for the enhancement or use of guided awareness in yogic practice. The Aim: to create a c.d applicable to anyone with or without yogic/ meditational knowledge so that all can practice and receive the benefits of this profound practice. For the past two years experimenting and recording the ambient music and styles for the various formats of the C.d, now finally at last the final stages are simply to include different languages. “ヨガニードラ”とは?
「眠りのヨガ」と呼ばれるヨガ・ニードラは、シャバアーサナ(休息のポーズの姿勢で行われる究極のリラクゼーション法です。
